About Me
Kabi Neupane is a professor of Biology at Leeward Community College. He has a Bachelors's and Masters's degree in agriculture focusing on plant breeding and genetics and a Ph.D. in Plant Physiology from the University of Hawaii. Dr. Neupane has been a staunch proponent of undergraduate research programs and has been offering authentic research experiences for students since he joined the Leeward CC as a biology faculty in 2002. He developed the curriculum and started the Plant Biology and Tropical Agriculture Program, currently known as Sustainable Agriculture Program. Dr. Neupane is the Campus Coordinator of the INBRE program and provides cutting-edge research experiences for undergraduate students during the academic year as well as in Summer.
